look at our first 11 now compared to our first 11 rara took over, ask yourself this rage, with a spurs/newcastle budget rafa has ammased a squad that might, just might win us the pl this year.he had to (on a limited budget) get rid of smicer,diouff,diao,biscan,traore etc who were all on big money who, to be fair nobody else quite rightly wanted.

if you bothered to watch our youth set up as i have, then you would see that rafa has totally commited our future to producing the next torres/ronaldo type players, he has set us up for the next ten years, and he's won us a couple of trophies too!

id love to know rage, who would you like rafa sacked for? because if you can name the man who loves this club and is a proven winner above rafa's achievments then i will be amazed

diouf - kuyt, voronin
diao - lucas

traore - we bought him for **** all paletta

yes we have bought some exceptional players but we've failed to address our weak positions from 5 years ago.

he's spent 200 million give or take but come on even if it was similar to spurs/newcastle when rafa took over our squad was a top 4 team they were not.

everything lee dixon said in his article is 100% spot on and for that rafa is responsible. i don't mind that you choose to ignore the article and concentrate your criticisms elsewhere but sooner or later you'll not be able to ignore the elephant in the room.

If Rafa knows more than us lesser knowledgable fans, why does he go and play strikers on the wings, started with 3 central midfielders and a striker in a midfield 4 and spend £20m on a player and decide to play him on the wing?

Why does he spend £7.5m on a winger who can't take on a player or cross a ball? Why does he think a 28 year old central midfielder at £18m is going to help him win the title?

Why does he go to teams looking for a draw and make bizarre substitutions?

I'll tell you why....because he doesn't know it all. He's been here for 4 or 5 years and has not yet assembled a squad capable of winning the title. He still has a team reliant on two players to turn a game for him yet he spends millions on mediocre squad players

More and more he reminds me of Houllier...bizarre team selections, negative boring football but on top he has hissy fits when he doesn't get his own way

Agree with all of that and would like to add that he persists with players who just don't have the required quality for the football club.
