Compare him to "Englands finest" Porritt.
Would agree. He links up well with Pacheco....holds it well and brings players in.

We're missing Ayala. The CHs are just sitting off, at least Ayala was stepping forward and closing down made it easier on the CM. Boro are pretty much controlling it now.

Boro were always gonna have a go 2nd half. Think they've blown themselves out now.....should be 2-0 after that miss.

Vincent Weijl, our left winger has impressed me tonight, not afraid to run at defenders and has a good cross on him. Will be keeping my eye on this lad.

Degen looks like he likes to get forward at any opportunity. Will be interesting to see how he progresses and how soon he's pushing for first team football.

He got forward against Tranmere in pre-season and kept getting caught out on the counter attack.

It's hardly his fault is it? That is inevitable when you play with attacking fullbacks. When the FB is in the other half it's the DM and CH who are meant to cover.

And with Mascher back and a 4 2 3 1 who knows, he could be a decent acquisition.

Liverpool won, 0 - 1. Brouwer scored. Pacheco played well but in my opinion was way too greedy

Aye Pacheco looks a real talent, very excited about this little fella, hope his muscles develop quickly so that he can build his legs and upper body up, gets pushed off the ball a bit too easy at times, but his skill is usually enough to retain possession when under pressure but no doubt strength will add another dimension to his game.

Hoping we have a true world talent on our hands here, and that we nurture him into just that, and keep him wearing the Red obviously, can't wait to see him get games in the first team, maybe the Carling Cup for starters, as with many of these lads.

Oh, Greedy, he was a bit, but a sign of confidence, he'll learn with more forthright team mates to tell him i'm sure.

**** the CC, get the lad on against stoke, Hull etc, at least a full half of a match.

Aye, so he can get slated by the usual dicks on here, after a poor performance in his first match on the big stage...

If your good enough your old enough.......seasoned pro's are gettin slated on here all the time so there no hiding away from it unfortunately.

I think hes talented enough to be blooded in the first team against lesser opposition. In fact I'm pretty excited at the prospect of seeing him in the first team.
