Was Nathan Porritt playing for Boro? He is meant to be something for the future.

If your good enough your old enough.......seasoned pro's are gettin slated on here all the time so there no hiding away from it unfortunately.

I think hes talented enough to be blooded in the first team against lesser opposition. In fact I'm pretty excited at the prospect of seeing him in the first team.

Just think he's a little light weight as yet....rather ease him in to find out if he can handle it first is all, then if he passes that test by all means a prem debut...in time.

Porritt played......didn't get into the game at all and looked if anything a little cumbersome and lacking.

He definately isn't good enough. He isn't strong enough for the premiership. Realistically, he's probably 2 years away and if anything the lesser opposition defences will be even more physical for him.

Guile, craft, technical ability, control, eye for a pass (an attacking one at that)....he's got enough in his locker to look out for himself on the pitch.

Granted he'll be even better (and stonger) in a couple of years time but I'd say he's good enough now to merit some playing time in the first team.
