When a man over 10 years has near on PROFIT on his transfer dealings, he can moan as much as he likes.

Wenger (04-08) = 1 FA cup (after a diabolical display)

Benitez (04-08) = 1 Champions league, 1 Fa cup. Highest rated champions league team over the last 4 years.

As for the transfer market he (as in Rafa) is in front or at least even in players HE has bought and then sold. His problem was he could not GIVE away Houlliers ****e.

I like GH but I look back at the contracts we gave some "players" and wonder what the **** was going on.

How about Pennant, Kuyt, Benayoun, Lucas, Voronin, Morientes and the like?

It goes both ways.

Pennant, yep that's fair enough, but he was the best available for a very restrictive price in a position we desperately needed.

Kuyt has been a good player for us and has scored some vital goals for us. A good signing.
Benayoun has been a very good squad/ impact player. Wigan away last season sprongs to mind.
Lucas still nees more time, but does look a good player.
Voronin gets more stick that he deserves, but is ****.
Morientes, well, who knew it'd turn out like that?!

Well, he got our HIGHEST league points total EVER for a start.

But don't tell me, he has spent more NET than any of our previous managers, Wenger has won more with a much lower NET spend, he's a better coach than a manager, he shouldn't have rebuilt his squad but kept the ****e he inherited but with a couple of £100m additions....

A team which Houllier could do SFA with. You have argued Rafa's case there mate. He turned "Houlliers ****e" as you call it into the champions of Europe and FA cup winners. That is the sign of a great coach.

Quite frankly it's people like you who can't accept a bit of criticism of Rafa that are turning every thread into a free for all slating whichever poster happens to post a negative post about him and hurling personal insults. Well I remember quite a few saying that he'd never make it in the Prem and being shouted down by the usual suspects on Koptalk. Now it's convenient saying 'who knew it would turn out like that'
