    What would you prefer?

If (by the grace of god and with a bit of luck at last!) we do beat the mancs on saturday, would you prefer it to be a 1-0 last min job (where we've played ****e) or a 5-0 ass whopping?

I only ask as my mate at work wants us to batter them
    I just want a win

would prefer a hammering, particularly after last year at OT, and also would be far less stressful.

I ask for a battering. Imagine how good five fingers look compared to the one!

true, a battering would be great but I think a win in any circs would lift the players moral, but whether it'd get the press of our backs...

any win would be fantastic thanks.

Obviously a 1st minute hat-trick by robbie keane would make the afternoon so much more enjoyable but like i said, id take any win.

I wonder which would, psychologically, have a greater impact on our team? On the one hand there is the elation of a last minute winner, but on the other hand battering the scum would do wonders for us in terms of this inferiority complex we seem to have against them and as title challengers generally.

First and foremost I would just take a win. Any kind of win, preferably one that involves a Gary Neville cock-up or own goal, sprinkled with Torres making Vidic and Ferdinand look like statues, and with The Chief absolutely clobbering the **** out of Anderson.

Much as a last minute winner would make them cry, a battering would do wonders for our confidence.

Im personally hoping Sammy Lee will drag Fergie out to the centre circle at some point during the second half and bum the **** out of him live on Sky Sports.

Oh yeah and a win would be lovely too.

We must beat them with style, one touch passing and score at least 3 goals. We're LFC FFS we shouldn't be expecting anything else. No wonder we've not won the Prem with fans accepting such mediocrity.

it's not about accepting mediocrity. The sum over the past few years have decided that whne they come to Anfield, they will shut up shop play for a point and nick a winner if possible. Over the years that has become a hoodoo for us. Why cant we do the same to them?
