Heard a couple of people mention the mancs are sending a firm of lads down early on Sat morning........Bollocks they never do that at our place, they would get murdered. Unless they've suddenly got brave, anyone else heard this....or is it just

love them to run into the protest - that would be nice
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

Sounds like bravado with hopefully no substance.

I'm as animated as anyone watching Liverpool but it never ceases to amaze me that people are willing to be so violent and aggressive over football. Crazy people.

                      ive heard
My point is, there are arranged 'meet ups' between a United firm and a Liverpool group, correct? In other words, they go for each other, almost by appointment. Or is that not right?

                          yeah usually

but if something was to go wrong or the meet didnt turn out i have a feeling these people wouldnt just toddle off home

i know a couple of lads who seem to be involved in this kind of thing still. they do not talk about it, do not have tattoos declaring who they support and they do not wear anything that makes them stand out. for the normal person going to the game, these people are generally nothing to worry about. as elvoz said, it isnt a case of them coming down to fight any liverpool fan if it is an organized thing, they are going for the people who will do the same when we play at old toilet.

it is sad that this still happens but as far as have heard, our lads havent come away from it worse for wear fr at least a couple of years so if they want to send people down here they should expect a hefty ****ting. on and off the pitch
                            in january we were doomed.

in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again

So it'd then become a free-for-all, with them going for whoever's in the vacinity?

And are these people actually going TO the game, eg, gonna get in the ground? Or do they just go for a punchup before or after the game?

Cos if they're gonna be in the ground and the meet up is meant to be after the game, the Liverpool lot will have to wait half an hour for the mancs to be let out
