Had Moores and Parry given Rafa what he wanted in 2005/06, this guy is ours!
Imagine him on the right side up front with Torres, Keane, Gerrard and Babel.
We would not have the problem: Is kuyt good for a right winger??? ermm but he works very hard...
Had they given Rafa what he wanted we'd have had Aguero before he went to Atletico as well.
that is really depressing, the lad has shown massive improvement in his game and can only get better. I dont base this on last nights games but his performance over the past few months. We saw it first hand when he caned out defence in the CL quarters and set up Adebayors goal. A real talent is developing at Arsenal, undoubtedly the best place for a young player to flourish
Would he have developed the same way at LFC over the last couple of years? I'm not so sure.

no I dont think he would have and that was what I was getting atin my post. Wenger does allow young players the freedom and trust to express themselves and more ofthen than not, they do turn to be the right choices

LIVERPOOL target Sergio Aguero has begged Rafa Benitez to sign him ahead of next season.
The Reds have joined the race for the 17-year-old Independiente midfielder who is rated as an even bigger talent than Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
Benitez is reportedly ready to outbid Real Madrid and Barcelona to land the teenager.
Aguero said: "I know all the players in the current Liverpool squad. I would be proud if Benitez tried to sign me. It would be an honour.
"The league I've most liked since I was a kid is the Premiership. I always watch it on TV.
"If I had to choose from all the different leagues that I've been linked to I would go for the English one, no question.
"I've always been a Liverpool fan and it would be a dream to play there."
Independiente rejected a pounds 14.5million bid from La Liga side Villarreal for Aguero in January.

I know the quotes, i seen the interview with him playing pro evo as l'pool. Rafa replied by telling reporters that they were pronouncing his name wrong and that he is a player that he was aware of.
Fact is, we made no bid and he wasn't a 'work permit' away from signing as you put it.
I doubt if we had signed Cristiano Ronaldo that he would become the player he is playing in the restrictive nature of Houllier and Rafa's teams. Not a dig, just a fact. Players like that need to be given freedom, hence why Ronaldo is never asked to defend and was given the freedom to make so many mistakes in his early years.

What like the freedom we give Gerrard and Torres?
In order to accomodate Ronaldo the Mancs severely restrict the natural game of the likes of Rooney and Tevez so you could say that's comparable to the responsibilites that are placed on the likes of Kuyt and Babel to accomodate Gerrard and Torres and it's not a fact it's your opinion mate.
