And I'm not saying this to get a rise out of anyone, I genuinely thought there were moments today where Kuyt looked awful. Saying that, the first half most of the team did.

    kuyt wouldnt finish his dinner

Keane is just getting out of 1st gear and i think he will smash stoke next week. Just a case of getting going. Kuyt was awesome today

Give the boss credit where it's due, Rafa got it right today big time and brought Babel on do damage them at exactly the right time

      Kuyt 9/10 for me today
      Another MASSIVE game

all well and good using him as a 'impact player' but he isn't going to develop with ten minutes here and there from the bench. these are his formative years and he needs to be playing.

So we should all concentrate on Babel's career instead of doing what's good for the team. Long live Babel.

playing babel IS for the good of the team. he has a goal and a assists despite not starting whilst other have started and not contributed as much.
for instance how many minutes has yossi played compared to babel.

                yossi
                0 goals
                0 assists

                  We're top of the league.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

At the moment Kuyt doesn't deserve to be dropped, and Keane does. I'd play Kuyt and Torres up front with Babel on the right..... and Gerrard in the centre alongside Alonso while Mascherano is out injured.

Rafa is playing is very smart. He is bringing Babel into the season slowly (Olympics remember) and using him at the right time. As we go on Babel will start games and get a long run from the start.

Kuyt should have scored today i agree but we could not have won that match without him. He was excellent today and anybody who says otherwise is a tool and more than likely blind

Yossi played well today, he has looked lost on the left, Babel is awesome though, I'd like to see him start more, but if he is more effective coming off the bench i'll settle for that too! The signing of Reira does give us some much needed and welcome options. The squad looks good.

Don't be stupid. Thats not how you deal with a player who is just getting going. For ****s sake some of you are so fickle. Robbie Keane will score next week and that will shut u up, ****s sake 4 games in you want him dropped

                          Stupid.

Anyway TOP OF THE LEAGUE, LONG LIVE RAFA BENITEZ

Dossena was dropped after about three games.

I think today summed up Kuyt, can't live without him in games where we need energy - no other player in this world would have followed upin support of a dead ball Mascherano chased in the hope of that 1% chance it might stay in - but boy does he lack quality in front of goal.

Any word on how long he's likely to be out for??
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
