I noticed that too. It looked a bit like:

      "Hey, Gerrard, you're a ******! "

      "What did you say?"

      "I said you're a ****** "

      "Oh. Alright la"

        Great debut.
He was either milking a cow, or telling Stevie that Wes Orange was wank??

He has that bit of magic you want from an attacker. He just drops his shoulder and glides past players and he is a cheeky ****er. More of the same Riera
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

very good debut. those flicks were great to see but not as much as his positioning. great to see someone stay out wide as it freed up spece for those in the centre of the pitch. we've been badly crying out for a player such as riera. he hugged the touchline and ran at wes "wank" brown at every chance. showed good touches, good pace and real strength. hope he keeps it up. good game son!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Very impressive for a debut. Only time will tell but the early signs are promising.

His flicks today are what you want to see. He did them at the right time and lifted the place. I like his swagger

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Heard it mentioned it might have been as low as an initial £5.5m; most media put the figure nearer £8m

Definitely enjoyed his play today and I hope we see more of this effort in the coming months.

At last we have a winger playing on the wing. And how good did we look with it?Lets play Babel on the right and the balance looks awesome.Excellent debut.

What I liked about the guy most of all was the fact he had confidence in himself, and it showed.

Was not afraid to run at the defender and easily swept aside Wank Brown.

He will improve, but already he looks promising.

I liked the possibilities he gave when full backs overlapped and the inside-left slot offered himself too.

He hugged the wing nicely and looks like he has a clever mind. I never judge after 1 game, but let's hope.
"Sir, it's me sir. Jennings sir."
