Everyone was awesome today but Kuyt was just superb. He never shirks responsibility and he is definetely one of our leaders. He is a 100% player and we are so lucky to have him. It's an awful pity he did'nt score today because he deserved one. You can understand why Rafa puts so much faith in him, because he never gives in.

We had 11 MOM today. They were are class. Today showed exactly why Rafa rates Kuyt so highly though.

Great game from Kuyt but his first touch all too often lets him down. He was unlucky not to get a goal though.

Anybody spot a pattern with Kuyt? The swings in opinion (and I presume performance - I get to see very little as I live in USA these days and don't have cable or satellite) are drastic for this player. I like him - I've always liked players who don't hide and don't shirk responsibility.

He was terrible against Liege and was kept on and scored the winner. He just keeps going and never gives in. He is reliable and today showed he has leadership qualities. The same can be said for Skrtel and Mascherano. Beasts

I thought Xabi had a very quiet first half and picked his game up in the second therefore he does warrant the MOM; Mascher was awesome from start to him leaving the field.

Whenever mancs had a corner and we cleared it, was great to see him leading the pack chasing the ball down. Good on the lad, great game.

**** so was i, the build up was superb, some lovely quick close passing to set Kuyt up, but never mind, the fella was awesome today, he and Keane never gave them a second on the ball...always in their face...brilliant.
