The Season So Far - Player Ratings....

    Reina - 5

    Finnan - 7
    Carragher - 6
    Hyypia - 6
    Agger - 7
    Riise - 6
    Aurelio - 6
    Warnock - 6

    Gonzalez - 6
    Zenden - 3
    Sissoko - 7
    Alonso - 4
    Gerrard - 7
    Pennant - 6
    Luis Garcia - 6

    Kuyt - 7
    Crouch - 8
    Fowler - 6
    Bellamy - 3

    Benitez - 5

Clearly not anywhere near good enough. A couple of pointers for Mr Benitez ('cos he's bound to pay attention to me!)...

    1) Stop rotating the squad for the sake of it
    2) Show no favouritism - ANY player not doing the business shouldn't be in the team. Pennant, Fowler, Gonzalez & Riise have all been justifiablt dropped at some point. The likes of Bellamy and Alonso (one of my favourites I might add) shouldn't be anywhere near the starting XI at present
    3) Play your best players where they are at their most effective. Sticking Gerrard (the world's best centre midfielder) on the left wing, simply to accomodate Alonso (who has been shocking so far this season), is so obviously a major reason why we're doing so badly. The other main reason is playing Bellamy in favour of Crouch - the mind boggles.

Bellamy's not a 3 at least a 6 based on your other ratings.

      1 goal in 10 games.

      He's a '3' at best.

Reina should be about a '2'.

He is. What's he done to deserve any more than 3? He gets 3 for his paltry one goal. He's started the majority of league games and he hasn't even looked like scoring. All I hear about is his "pace" and how we need his "pace". Yes he's quick but if he doesn't utlilise it in the slightest then he may as well be as slow as my Grandmother.

You are on a crusade mate. You dish Bellamy every time you get a chance. Not even constructive criticism. How is he a 3 and Garcia a 6 FFS? Explain

My point exactly basing it on the other ratings, Bellamys a 6, oh and Alonso isn't a 4.

I'll tell you what my problem with Alonso is: apart from a decent game against newcastle, he's been piss poor. Even though he's one of my favourite players, I'm not going to say he's been great when his distribution, tackling and involvment have been a fraction of what he's capable of. I'm standing by my rating of 4 for him, but in retrospect I got Bellamy's wrong. He doesn't deserve a 3......he's been a 2 at best.

Obviously Xabi has been well below par this term, Newcastle game apart, but I thought he was excellent today. Our best player by a mile.

Well i stand by my opinion that you simply haven't seen our matches this season. He was the only player today who can hold his head up.

Bellamy's scored 1 goal in 10 games so far.

He's overall contribution hasn't been great either, maybe one or two assists maximu, but not much else apart from moaning at the Ref and missing great chances.

                        He's been ****e.

1 goal in ten means he is worth a 2? While his contribution has not been briliant he has worked hard, created chances and been a good outlet. His pace has caused problems and he has held the ball up well. Considering the fact he has only signed for us I think a 2 or 3 rating is very harsh. So you get a grip!!
