    riera again

**** it - go for a bit of positivity. thought he was very good again despite the brief appearence. good skill. made a few things happen - including a great chance for babel. in the end if he puts in good crosses and has good skill, the fact that he's big enough to make a bit of space for himself should compensate for a lack of brilliant pace. looking forward to seeing more of him. if rafa picks him. regularly. on the left...

Dare I say it, I was on the edge of my seat when his number came up to come on. And with just cause, sometimes raw pace gets in the way of good skill (look at Pennant or even Babel). But Riera does things I do on a five a side pitch.

              They can't be LFC fans.

He's been top notch in his first two hours playing for us. Can't see how anyone would fail to be impressed.

He seems to added a little more steel to his game, if he can up this a little more he will continue to get better

Very impressed with him so far, mustnt be easy having his first match against the Scum then coming on as a sub when we had our backs to the wall away in Europe. Handled himself excellently and has already started making a name for himself. Hope he gets another start on Saturday.

One thing he has more than all our wide players is ability and technical skill... I wasn't thrilled with his signing but did say that he offered something different to the rest. It's early days but he looks impressive.

I love this guy, his move to set up the Babel chance was of the highest quality.

He really can add another dimension to our side.

Early days, but haven't been impressed like this by a new signing since, well, Torres.

Looks really good. Very composed and confident in possession. Has to start against Stoke. We won't get through 10 players in the box, but we might get around them and this is the man to do it. Great example of ability when he received the ball under pressure in the centre circle, controlled it, bought some time, passed a lovely ball out left to Kuyt who . . . .

quite simply he looks exactly what we need. Powerful both attacking and defensively and give us great width. Also showed great composure in centre mid to look up and find Kuyt with a great ball.
