Perfectly understandable IMO, Gerrard behind Keane with Kuyt and Babel/Riera on the flanks should do the job, if Rafa rests Torres we have good enough players not to use that as an excuse.

      ........................reina..................... ...

      degen........hyypia.........agger........dossena.. ..

      benny......alonso........gerrard........riera..... ...

      ..............keane.........babel................. .......

no point starting torres but id give him half an hour towards the end of the game. masher looked really tired against marseille after the utd game and i think sami and agger will both do well aerially against stokes bigger players.

time to start degen and get him going forward.
