Can't blame Benitez on that, the players were just gutless.

But one thing I can ask Rafa, and that's when are we going to pose any danger from corners. We had about 60 corner this game, they were all absolutely horrible. Games like these show how important set pieces are. We're absolutely **** at corners, and it has to change.

After 20 mins of putting in high balls into the box i would have thought that players would of got the message that it wasn't going to work. Teams like stoke rely on aerial ability for ****s sake.

Yeah, well, knee jerk and all. But if we want to win the league, we need to win these games. We lost the two points gained from beating the mancs, simple as.

At home to Stoke City. Dress it up however you want but we should have done miles better. The 20+ corners should have been shots on target. It was this sort of game that we all agreed should be turned into wins if we were going to challenge. It hasn't happened today and we are obviously going to get that feeling of Deja Vous.

I have to agree, we are **** at corners and very rarely look at getting anything from them. No idea why, just on the law of averages today we should've created at least one decent chance from a corner.

same as last year and the year before all the way back to houllier. we can't break down teams that just want to defend and thats why we won't win the league this year yet again. come on it was stoke ffs and their goalie hardly made a save.

keane is lost out there and should have come off much earlier. there is no need to play hard working but offers **** all in attack dirk kuyt against stoke. dossena is crap, if he was bought as an attacking full back.

stoke fans at the end chanting easy. well done rafa another tactical masterclass where we negated the opposition, only problem is we did not create one clear opportunity on goal. huff and puff all we want this is the same old shower of ****.

Keane was ****, he honestly looks like a pub player. He doesn't know how to shoot at the goal. It's just too difficult for him to swing his foot with power and connect properly. I have yet to see him do that this season.

I'm not making excuses. I just said he had some shots on target that the keeper saved, one of which was a back heel flick.
