continue all you want with the personal insults. that was a poor performance today, all huff and puff no guile no creativity and rafa left it too late to change it.

we could have gone 3 at the back, we could have kept riera on and took kuyt of for babel, we could have taken keane off earlier and moved gerrard further up the pitch. i'm not the only one who watched the game and thought of all these things we could/should have done to help us create more.

Keane was unlucky not to score twice and Torres was a bit jaded.

Kuyt played well again. He kept possession, forced errors, put in some good crosses and had a few shots.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read on here, Kuyts performance today was not up to premiership standard let alone liverpool standard.

we played stoke and ****ed up like we did with similar teams last year and the year before. we should have destroyed them. instead we've got a 20 million pound striker that looks like he belongs in a pub team and a hard working limited forward that must have set a record for minutes played without scoring in the league.

You could see how much todays game meant to Stoke and their fans, so when they put 11 men behind the ball, and play to the top of their game, it's always going to be difficult.
My stream in the first half was ****e so can't really comment on that, but in the 2nd, it just looked like Keane was trying waaaay too hard. As for Kuyt, you can see from his performance last week what he brings to the team, put in some cracking crosses and wasn't too far away with a few of his shots (albeit not the one from the edge of the area in the dying minutes!).

Ultimately though, I thought we were just unlucky today.

I think Kuyt played well though, just didn't have that creative spark that Yossi had when he came on.

I don't think Kuyt had a particularly bad game today but against a team that is going to sit back, you need someone like Benny to break them down, as you say the creativity was missing.
