Carling Cup and TV coverage

Chelsea TV have live coverage of their Carling Cup game.

Yet, tomorrow night, while we're playing Crewe, LFC TV will be off the air.

Any idea why we didnt get the rights to show live coverage on our own channel, like Chelsea are doing?

Chelsea TV is owned (or part owned) by Sky who have the rights? that could be a reason!

According to the TV guide, Chelsea are not showing the game live but just delayed coverage at 10pm.
I don't think any clubs have rights to show live competitive games on their own TV channel.

There was a radio advert today that i heard, which said 'live'. Not sure what's going on now.

OK, Could someone who is beside a TV check this on the listings. Setanta website listing for Wednesday has at 00:00 - All 90 mins of our game against Crewe, but then something else starting at 00:15.

Might avoid the result until midnight if so....

Maybe it's to encourage people who want to watch it to go to the game.
