I hate to sound too negative but this is utter bollocks and we wont have any players coming through like this. Why are we focusing on the Carling Cup for christ sake. Compare that bench to Arsenals:

And their starting 11 is full of kids. Are our batch just not up to it? I make that a £65m+ bench. I just don't get it, I really don't.

Seems like Rafa wants to fell he can win the game if it is still tight with 15 minutes left. He's giving the youngsters a chance. I don't think its all that wrong to have a little experience available if needed.

Just got released from hospital today and was looking forward to watching this one while I recover at home, **** theres not even a single stream about!

I also think a few more of the youngsters from the reserves should have been included in the match squad for tonight. They will be gutted and demotivated.

I understand your point but I assume Rafa wants to see the fringe players in action, not players who are some distance from the first team.
