A third of the Anny road was empty and there were loads of empty seats in the main stand. 28,000 seems about right.
Agree it should have been cheaper though. The reality is that most people know we were going to put out a team of ressies and squaddies (which is exactly how it should be) so for a low profile match there were always going to be empty seats.Comment

£24 for a lot of people is a **** load of money to watch the reserves against Crewe on a cold night during the working week.
£10 for adults and £5 for kids is more reasonable.

I think that is probably the way actually to offer reduced tickets to school groups and/or famalies as a way to get bulk groups with young people into the ground. The same phenomena is happening in a lot of grounds (see Newcastle last night). The trouble is that if you simply reduce prices it requires that you risk not getting a reduced revenue level but for more people when a lot of people aren't that fussed about the Carling Cup.Originally posted by Parm View Post
