The hot dogs at Anfield used to be okay (except for those weird ****ing little things that purport to be onions!!!)….everything else though is rank. Football ground food is foul.

The Carling Cup is not a great competition and as an OOC'er if I get there to see a game I will be doing my best to get to a classic CL decider, if not a decent PL game. Traveling to the other side of the world to see our reserve's play Crewe just doesn't do it (would go for sure if it was the only option but!).

For me these games should be promoted as Mum's and Dad's games, cheap prices for Adults and cheaper for kids. Perfect opportunity to garner more support locally and as far as I am concerned for every tourist like myself, a proper scouser on the Kop is worth a 1,000.

                Anfield must have Scousers

It is the Kop (and Anfield) that makes me yearn to go, more so than the team even.

To be fair I quite like the chips and bacon buttie offerings of some of the lower league grounds I attend. I think the desperation to rip you off at most bigger clubs though gets a bit much and I have never, ever been tempted by a pie at a football ground.

I was at Wembley once, and some really fat guy behind me was eating a pie. He then sneezed, whilst in mid mouthful. I felt it splattering against my neck.

Reminds of the time I was at church and got a crow on my hand. We’d got to that bit where you shake hands with your fellow ‘worshippers’ (‘peace be with you’ ). One dirty cunt – who was the spitting image of Richard from ‘Guess Who?’ – shook my hand and left an enormous bogey in the palm of my hand.

the problem is not the pricing, its the fact that not many people have much of an interest in the competition.

id imagine if the prices were lowered we still wouldnt see a full stadium unless we were playing the mancs/chavs or arsenal.
You two scousers are always yapping,I'm gonna show you some serious rapping.

As for last night, the attendance figure is just those who actually turned up. I wonder if many people bought for loyalty and just didnt bother going.

Back in 2001/02 I'm sure it was around £12 for a ticket, and full price was about £24, so about a 50% discount. That seems about right to me.
