    So Far this Season

Our lads have delivered Champions Lg Qualification, Our Boss has signed one of the best strikers in the Lg in Keane, our team has gone unbeaten now since March I think of this year, Our boss has signed a player in Reira who looks like a genuine winger article, Our lads won there opening Champions Lg game on the Road, They have beaten Manchester United and now have beaten Everton away and we are equal on points at the top of the table

For all the ****ing moaning that goes on, I would just like to say Well In Lads !!

Keep it up, We are all behind you and heres to bringing the Premiership home to were it belongs .... Anfield !

Yes - Saturday's result was a big one. Someone said if we got 7 from 9 in the games vs. Scum, Stoke and Everton they'd be happy and so am I. Would like to think we should have got 9, but if I was told we would only get 7 points those are the results I would have taken. A good start - let's keep it up! Am a little concerned about our lack of finishing in the final third but hopefully Keane will start chipping in soon - great set up for Torres. Congrats to Kuyt too in that first goal for taking the defender out of position with a smart run. Riera has some lovely tricks too

I was thinking yesterday that this is the first year in 5 or 6 where the pundits had written us off as title challengers before the season started. I'm wondering if Rafa has used this as a way to take the pressure off the lads. If we're honest, our chances of winning the league are slim.

Trouble is, once we start to believe we can do it, the pressure's back on. Can Rafa keep the lads focused and the pressure to a minimum? That's going to be the trick, not that the players and squad are good enough - because they certainly are. I prefer to think of us as underdogs, to win it would be a dream, but I'm not expecting to.

Things are looking great. All we need is for Hicks to open his big trap to derail us!

Not me, I think we'll finish 3rd. In honesty I think that'll be a fair position based on what we have

So glad we bought Reira and not Bentley, he looks a better player to me and for a lot less cash.

For me I think it'll be a top two finish.

It will very interesting to see who (if any) of the top 4 drops out to accomodate the much improved Villa side?

Utd have it to do at them moment but are more than capable of htting a winning streak. Arsenal? Some blinding football early doors but what does a result like Saturday say? Chelsea will be top two without a shadow imo.

There is no chance I am getting carried away just yet, but we are definitely moving in the right direction.

Much improved i agree, however they'll need to stay injury free to keep it up imo....especially if they lost Young.

i said after that game we would look back as a good point earned - they are capable of taking points off chelsea united and arsenal imo at home

Villa have started with the same XI for all their league games so far. As RedRascal says - will they be able to cope with a few injuries/suspensions?
