Maybe that's harsh, but I don't often see you post anything positive, if ever actually. I'm not having a dig or anything, I think you Rage, Rashid and CraigH liven up the site with all your negative posts.

It would be boring if everyone was always positive. I'm sure there is a reason for your negative posts. Rashid is quite clearly not happy with the regime under Rafa and wants him sacked so he can see some galatico style football. I don't really know what the rest of you want. Other than a title winning team of course.

One things for sure all 4 of you are massive LFC fans and that's all that counts in my opinion.

    Forwards.......

What i want and what we've got arent that far apart actually.

I want a solid unit, where we play very much as a team and are capable of being machine-like at times. However, i also want the ability to, when needed, play with more freedom, more tempo and quicker passing and movement.

I would like us to be capable of providing an attacking onslaught which the opposition will struggle to deal with and i'd like us to be multi-dimensional in the way we play, especially in an attacking sense.

And most of all, i'd like us to be the ones who dictate how a game goes, with our own strengths and worrying less about the opposition who, in 16 out of 19 cases certainly, are inferior to us.

I dont think i'm actually negative, but i probably portray myself to be on here more than i actually am. Inside, i'm very excited about this season and hope is turning into belief, but i also know how many times that's happened before and how disappointing it is to fall flat on your face, after setting yourself up for such a big success.

Right on the button, this is what every trainer strives to achieve and those that manage this and know when to change from one style to another are the champions.

i think that this is exactly where rafa is taking us and it just takes time. i notice you say that you want the freedom, tempo, quick passing etc ONCE we've established a solid base to play from and not the other way round. again, it might take a bit longer given our situation but i don't think we can say that we don't see it coming together over time. every team has a ****e performance around the corner and as long as we keep minimising them and getting more of the top performances then we'll be close

No offence mate, but i didnt say that.

With regards to the faster passing and quick movement, i dont see much of it unfortunately. We're methodical, very deliberate and usually very slow in the way we attack. We play square balls or sometimes go backwards, in order to keep possession but rarely do we up the gears and raise the tempo in order to go AT teams, leaving them unable to cope. It has happened but it's rare and overall, our attacking play is pedestrian and slow. That was one fundamental reason why we didnt score against Stoke and i hope it doesnt cost us too often.

I agree. Rafa basically has said the same thing in every pre-match interview since he's been with us. As you say, practice makes perfect.
