You're obviously being silly here, as nobody said they're in a better position to decide who needs a rest than Rafa is.

The main point (nay, fact) is that this season has seen FAR less rotation than in the first 9 games of last season and we're doing very well.

Whether you choose to consider the fact that we're doing well as a consequence of less rotation, or mere coincidence, is down to you.

i think there's little in it between the start to last season and the start to this season. could be wrong but we were going strong into November werent we?

also, have we not been pretty lucky to pick up 6/7 of our points this season? Sunderland, Boro and Villa.

We were 6 points off the pace in about 5th by november.

It's factually true to say that we have rotated MUCH less in the 1st 9 games of this campaign, than we did in the first 9 games of last season.

Rafa needed to rotate a few seasons ago because we had didn`t have the quality we have now.Now our 1 st 14 can do a job against most teams.back then he had to pick particular players to do particular jobs against a different team each week.Thus the need to rotate alot.

That doesn't make sense though. If we didn't have the quality then why would you rotate? Surely, you'd play your best 11 and rotate less frequently

I'm sure he'd appreciate it. He's so obviously an idiot who - alone - has no idea how to use his squad to the best effect. God knows why we pay him so much. Well I wouldn't rest a player three or four games into a season, so maybe he does need some help? Love the hilarious reply though....although I didn't find it as funny as some others on here who obviously laugh at anything
