    FAO Aussies..

Does anybody know if the Man City game is on Foxtel this weekend? Have looked on their site but cant find it at all...

    Its weird ... I can't either

Maybe it will come up as on demand ??

Had another look, looks like they have the west ham vs bolton game, then the everton vs newcastle game and the ones in between that are not on ??

    Chavski vs Villa
    MC vs LFC
    Pompey vs Stoke
    Spurs vs Hull

It must be on demand, but maybe they have not put in in yet .... they bloody better !

they will have it on demand surely...its clearly one of the better games of the weekend, not just being Liverpool biased

The issue is with the way it's liscensed to them for online distribution they're only allowed to show a certain amount of matches for each team, they have to spread the coverage.

So early in the season they tend to not show the big teams, saving the matches up for later on when the title race hots up a little.

So there's unfortunately a good chance it won't be shown. Although we have been lucky enough to be on twice in the last 3 weeks (on demand only but).

BTW, if you're with iiNet the service is free and not measured for quota via the iiNet website

They haven't had any live Liverpool games though as far as I know. I haven't even seen a game on the "in demand" section.

They've had 2 on the in demand service, the Manc and bitter games.

Whats the iinet all about then. Is that part of Austar or foxtel or different altogether?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

On the foxtel football show last night (the one with Andy Harper, Robbie Slater and Mike Cockerill, they said that the Liverpool vs Manchester City will be on at 1am and on demand.

                            Go to this webby:

Click the link for sport, then click BPL.

I *think* it's the exact same as the Foxtel online service. 2 live matches and between 3 and 6 on demand every week.

2 quality streams, standard at 512k and high at 1.5mbit, pick one depending on your connection speed.

First time you play one as well, right click the video, go to options, and increase the buffer time a wee bit, just stops the occasional stuttering video.
