Yeah maybe. I just quite like the 4-3-3 with Gerrard, Alonso and Masher when we play the big teams away from home. But then we haven't really played that formation this season so will probably be 4-4-2.

simply need to stop robinho to stop citeh playing well. they are a small team with a world class player. he makes them tick. get masher on him sitting deep and let alonso and gerard continue there good run together in midfeild. keane right side ( or kyut - not bothered really ) torres and babel to stretch there back line.

Personally I don't think we have the right player on the right wing to play 4-4-2 most effectively. However, for me, it's the best formation if you want to win the title. 2 natural strikers up top. Gerrard in midfield with Macher, Reira left and someone on the right.

Also, I think Gerrard isn't as effective against the bigger teams when he plays just off Torres. For me his best position is in midfield and that's where he should start every game.

spot on. the only slight difference to consider when you are playing such and attacking lineup and as you said we have to stop robinho, there is the option of agger in and carra right/left back
