City fan Tim Leah provides the view from the opposition ahead of Sunday's clash at Eastlands.
How's the mood at your place after everything that's happened?
Up and down. After becoming the richest club in the world and winning at home 6-0, we lose to Brighton and Wigan. We can't afford any more slip ups, even against the so-called big four, if we are going to have a top six finish.
And how are you feeling about the visit of Liverpool?
We need to start winning again and what better way to do it than against a team we are hoping to soon be challenging in the top four?
How's Robinho getting on?
Good, very good. I was a little wary on deadline day when it came out we had signed him – surely he was just coming for the money? But he has got off to a good start – let's just see how he does in the middle of December playing at the likes of West Brom away.
Who else should we be worried about?
Shaun Wright-Phillips. He never should have left but he has come home and is by far a better player than when he left - definitely going to be England's first choice on the right very soon. Oddly enough, Stephen Ireland has also been one of the consistently high performers of the season – but can he carry it on?
What are your weaknesses?
Michael Ball! I can't understand how he is still playing in the Premiership. The left-back position definitely lets us down.
How will Mark Hughes play it?
One up front and pack the midfield. If we keep Steven Gerrard quiet then there is no one to feed Torres - plus a midfield of SWP, Robinho, Elano, Ireland and Kompany has an appeal.
Who are you worried about on our side?
Fernando Torres seems to be back on form - the sort of form that has him linked to the richest club in the world – ha ha! Gerrard carries the best English midfielder tag well - always one to be worried about.
What can we expect from the home fans?
You can expect the same as always. The City end will be full of loud Mancs cheering on the biggest club in Manchester and now the richest club in the world. You can't beat the City faithful. As for chants, I don’t think we have got past "We've got Robinho, we've got Robinho" just yet so that's going to play a big part.
If you were putting a tenner on it?
Your tenner? 3-0, SWP first goal. My tenner? 1-0.
