People have been sucking Aurelio's cock on these boards lately but he remains a total liability defensively. Just put a bit of pressure on him and he's running scared. Responsible for both goals in my opinion.

Arbeloa, not much better, nothing has happened for us offensively from his flank. Kuyt is ****ing **** and should have scored at least 2 goals if he had any scoring instincts. Gerrard and Torres are too far from the action and Riera has been our only good performer.

Take off Mascherano and Kuyt, bring on Benayoun and Keane and let's try to play some football. Nothing to lose, I think we can still do it.

That first half showed why finnan shouldnt have been sold, he is just as solid as arbeloa and was one of our best crossers of the ball.Arbeloa has got in so many crossing positions this game and season and his delivery has been simply rubbish.

It also shows our poor creative play I said all summer a winger should have been our priority,Kuyt out wide is simply not good enough,he does not have the ability to play out wide for a team like us, hard work should not be viewed as an asset to a footballer that should be natural, Kuyt does not have the football ability required to play for a top team imo.

I was suprised he changed a winning formation. Kompany is all over Gerrard and Jo is holding the ball up really well. Everytime they boot the ball up Jo, SWP and Robinho are making the ball stick.

Can't see us getting back into this. An early goal back could change things though.

On the goals, shocking defending for the first but City were a bit lucky the ball stood up well for Ireland. For the second Reina should have done better with the wall.

You must have a short memory. Riise in his last few years was consistently bad. Dossena has not done anything wrong so far and Aurelio is usually solid but seems to be having a nightmare today.
