    That's very harsh.

They may not know the songs or the traditions, but how about we teach them, instead of calling them cunts?

Stupid post, in fact one of the most idiotic posts I've read on here, I'm sure you are a smart guy who can do better than this

I live in Norway, have followed my beloved Liverpool since around 1980, and sadly I have managed to go to Anfield only once. I would love to come again, in fact me and my pals have started saving so that we can go to Anfield one more time before we move to Stanley Park (whenever that will be )

We spent days/weeks preparing ourselves, learning the lyrics to the songs we didn't already know, planning what to do when in Liverpool, and we sang our hearts out once inside the ground.

And to say the club doesn't reap the rewards from "fans like me"!? I went to the museum, took the tour, spent my money inside the ground (although there wasn't much to spend it on..), and I think I spent around £350 in the club shop, just as I have bought club merchandise for the last 25 years.

I have three kids who are all Liverpool, I have told them I was to Anfield once and that I am a great supporter, and I am sure I will tell my grandkids as well if I'm lucky enough to have any. This club wouldn't be what it is without the worldwide support it has, so as one poster in this thread said, spread the message, educate fellow fans, instead of spouting **** like this.

Though the fella didn't word his post correctly, I do not think he is having a dig at you and your mates, who clearly appreciated the fact that they got to visit Anfield and see the reds.

He is more pissed off by the fact that "pretend" fans manage to get tickets ahead of people like you, me and many others on this site. You know the kind of fan he is talking about as much as I do, they are everywhere when you go to Anfield. You'll also see them if you pay a visit to Old Trafford, the Emirates, and more recently, Stanford Bridge.

They are the people who don't know about, never mind care, the current ownership issue. They are the people who if the club went into administration would just think "Ooh, that's a shame" and would no doubt just go and "support" another team.

Those people are not supporters. You clearly are. Those kind of people are the ones we do not really want at Anfield at the expense of other fans. They are the ones pricing proper fans like you out of a trip to Anfield. And they are the ones who have destroyed the atmosphere at fantastic grounds like Old Trafford, and more importantly, mean that the great Anfield atmosphere is under threat, so much so that a fans group (RTK) had to be created.

Back in the day Anfield used to be full of working class fans who would sing their hearts out, now days it's also full of pricks who couldn't give a **** about the club.

So give the poster a break, he was guaranteed not having a dig at any one who is a member on this site.

I can see why you've posted that mate, but you dont need to justify your support. You're just as valuable and genuine a fan as someone from L4.

This is how so many day trippers who never come again get tickets, they pay stupid prices (where the club doesn't reap the rewards); One could argue that it shows what great lengths some people will go to to watch the mighty Reds

don't sing cause they don't know they words to anything except YNWA maybe the match day program should have all the words to the most popular songs printed so fans can learn them

and then clap halfway through and then never come back again and tell their Grandkids about what great supporters they are cause they went to anfield once. ****s total speculation and uncalled for

This is isn't a stupid post, I'm passionate about my club. What annoys me is that some people go to Anfield to say they have been there rather then support the team (obviously not you if you sang your heart out). I don't care where fans come from as long as they get behind the team especially the scandinavians and Irish who have nothing to prove as far as getting behind the team goes.

But there are people from Liverpool who have gone for years and got behind their team who cannot afford to go now because of touts/corperate tickets. If you are a genuine fan become a member and get tickets that way at face value don't feed the touts. Don't take this personally everyone has a right to have their opinion. I have not had a personal dig at anyone so you shouldn't either, name calling is hardly intelligent is it, likewise you can do better then this

That's an extremely selfish point of view IMO. Not everyone has a season ticket - there is a 10 year waiting list, so for some fans, including me, it's close to impossible to get tickets and when we do get one (like twice a season) we get treated like **** by narrow minded fools such as yourself.

How the hell do you expect clubs like ours to get a larger fanbase and thus earn more money if we can't attract additional supporters? I must point out I've never bought a ticket from a tout but I woudn't necessarily criticise anyone who would eitther, I know LFC supporters who have never been to a game and are rabid supporters who if given even one chance to see the men in red, it would make it for them for the rest of their lives.

Just becuase you're fortunate enough to go every week that does not give you the right to insult other supporters. You are not better than them in any way or form, if anythign they are better humans than you've demonstrated thus far.
