You would think some of the players would be eager to show what they can do, with the Gaffer in the stands and all, wouldn't you? Slow game with no real effort from the players, we have dominated possession as far as I can see, but no penetration and very few forward runs.

There seems to be a complete lack of invention or creativity. No real threat from Liverpool despite lots of possession. Both Bruna and Pacheco seem to be struggling against the City defence.

I hope so, but it's a shame that his absence causes such things to happen, lack of confidence from them maybe too, could just be as simple as you say...Nemeth to come back...it said we had lots of possession but looks like we lacked imagination to create chances, sometimes a game just passes a team by...sounds daft but it happens, before they know it it's too late.

We'll get better i'm sure, Nemeth is a focal point for them so it'll improve with his return as you say.
