****** of a comment alright and i hope it is a mis-quote....
however, it is a bit fickle for us to believe that he came here for the lifestyle and for the club prestige! basically, every italian will dream of playing for the likes of inter, ac milan, juve, roma etc.....
lets be honest, all foreign players will only come if the price is right....obviously some will build up great afinities (sp?) with certain clubs - ie zola, bergkamp, cantona - and hopefully torres and mascherano are two as well.
It works both ways though - if frank lampard left to join inter in the summer, do ya think he'd have been doing it because he wanted to join an italian club.... yeah right!!!Comment
