"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

I don't want him anywhere near our club.

What is "death acid" anyway?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I admire the way Tatterdemalion avers that anyone who doesn't agree with his opinion about Mourinho is stupid and deserves to be killed and then manages to get elvoz to apologise to him for not affording his opinion sufficient respect.

At this moment in time id like Rafa to be given another 5 year contract, however if he were to leave in the next season or 2, and its not my decision, then id be more than happy to see mourinho here. I just dont think it will happen as there is definitely too much history between the 2 parties. Mind you to be fair he did try and be respectful towards us a few times, thats his way of saying he likes us i guess.
Id be ok with his appointment to be honest.

IF Rafa left you would qucikly find out that there is no one about who comes close to the list you just mentioned. I mean, FFS we nearly ended up with Klinsmann who is being out done by a reject Spurs boss in the Bundesliga.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostHe can **** right off if he thinks he has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of greats such as Shanks, Bob, kenny, joe and Rafa. Bit harsh on Jol? Of course. But is shows you the current chasm between the top bosses in world football and the also rans. If Rafa was to suddenly leave tomorrow I do not think there is any manager in World football who could replace him.
That's not to say there is not any bosses of his calibre around, because there is. It's just there is none who would consider us. All of them are already at massive clubs - Wenger, Ferguson, Scolari, Capello, Ancelotti. In that group I would put Mourinho, and whilst I also doubt he would leave Inter, I will say that if he was willing to leave, no one else comes close who we could reasonably expect to get.
So it's either give Jose "the mouthy git" Mourinho the job, or give it to someone like Sam Allardyce or Stuart Pearce, both of whom having been at one point in time considered good enough to manage us based on a few seasons work. No doubt some idiot would come up with someone else doing a grand job at someone like Udinese or West Brom or Espanyol or what ever. But these would be unproven at the big clubs and unproven at the high chair that is the Champions League.
Either way, get rid of Rafa without a top class replacement and you can forget all about those European glory nights. We take them for granted under Rafa but a fear a huge bump down to earth should he leave. Say bye bye to the millions he has earned us through the years. Winners, Runner up, Semi finals, Last 16......... No other coach comes close to that.
So to all those that say no to Mourinho (If rafa finally had enough of waiting for his contract to be re-newed) who would you want instead?Forwards.......

Danny I'd prefer Guus Hiddink TBH.
The guy has coached at the highest level, comes with no baggage and has class. He seems to get the best out of average / OK players so imagine what he can do with a decent squad like ours.
I, in no way want Rafa gone, so this is just a discussion on my part.

Your right. He has an excellent reputation for motivating teams and getting the best out of them pschologically. Maybe less tactical than some IMO.
