A player allways has to improve his game wether that be during or in training, they may have been instructed to develop holding the ball and trying to beat players.

For me its what makes attacking players that ability to beat many, im more worried about our cd's if Vaugn he really isnt that great a player have the impact he did then i dont know if their of the quality we should have as back up.

Granted they are young but still the defence have a hell of alot to learn.

Surely they would have been instructed to make the right desicions at the right times, and not to just hold onto the ball even though they are surrounded by defenders. You learn nothing by beating 4 people if when you try to beat the 5th you lose it...

Must mention that Pacheco showed some sublime bits of skill to get in on goal on a couple of occasions, but as I said ... there was no end product.

Duran looked very impressive when he came inside off the flank, spraying some lovely passes around the park, and Insua and Brouwer did ok too.

I think to that i would add that Plessis - being the tallest player on the pitch - won no headers against smaller players - our keeper looks dodgy under pressure. Spearing had a good game - Flynn looked handy when he came on - and i had pie and chips on the way home.
