    Post match thread v Wigan

That was quality, love the way we're fighting back from behind this season

Big praise for Dirk Kuyt, looked like a real striker today
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
    Mine angry and defrauded young?

We dont like doing it the easy way, great to see Kuyt get a couple. Alonso must be heading for the record of the most people sent off for tackling him.

Strange how this keeps happening. I honestly thought it would as the game went on.

No. 19 might be too far away.

how ****ing great do these late wins make ya feel, like a rush of free endorphins to brighten up your day

Looks like Rafa really went for it today with those subs.

                Really pleased for Kuyt.

                  Absolutely unbelievable.

At half-time today, right after Zaki's sickeningly brilliant goal, I thought this would be one mountain too many to climb. Surely we cannot keep giving good teams a start against us. We have gone from a team almost completely unable to win a game unless we score the first goal, to a team who come from behind every ****ing week. I love it!

Most of the credit goes to Rafa today IMO. Accused of being hesitant with his substitutions, he left it late again but got it spot-on. And what a way to answer accusations of negativity! What was that formation? 2-5-3? 2-6-2? Either way it was bold, brilliant and it won us the game.

And Kuyt too. No-one should get carried away after his first two Anfield league goals in around 18 months, but he is on fire at present and has, remarkably, become a key player for us. He deserved the match-ball today. What a ****ing save from Kirkland to tip Dirk's howitzer onto the bar.

I am loving our fighting spirit but still a touch concerned with us gifting leads and letting in so many goals.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I was so pleased that Rafa made such an attacking set of substitutions.

Was just thinking that. How many times has it happened this season?

                        worrying game.

bad luck or terrible defending? needs sorting either way.

we've managed to come back in games where they have gone down to 10 men because of stupid decisions by opposition players. Can't keep relying on that.

love seeing rafa throwing the kitchen sink at it but we shouldn't keep having to.

worrying, with a little less luck we could have had half the points we do.

Bladdy fantastic. I should know better by now but had almost given up hope of pulling that one back.

And Kuyt actually playing well as a striker! What happenned there? Did they accidentally give him Torres's food?

Whatever caused it great to see.

Gunna go outside and have a few smokes now to calm the nerves.

I was thinking that when listening to the game today. That's three already this season.

I wonder if he's winding the opposition players up during the game.

This season will be tough for the heart if this continues.

Why not get an easy game so you can relax and enjoy it? Another three points and Kuyt continue to be our best player, another excellent game by him

That is what our players deserve, and a lot of it.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
