    Football happend

    So it's kneejerk time once again. The oldtimers here all know what happend. Football happend. We were the best side and Bolton just got lucky. It's all there is to it. No need for therapy or long showers. It just happens. We played a good game. Sure, there are something we could do differently but overall we look like were going in the right direction.

    Look at the facts:
    70/30 possession for us.
    12/3 shot at goal.

    God knows I'm not always positive but I really don't think it's all bad this time around.

    Onwards and upwards!


    We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

      Bolton were jam as f... on saturday.

      A free kick that should not have been given, and a header that flew in off the bar. That was all they created.

      We're definitely not getting the breaks at the moment.
      Oh I don't know.

          We were like this last year and then we went on that amazing run. I think we'll be ok.

            For me the deciding factor is that we have looked better than last years season start.

            Everton was rubbish. We controlled the game. It was just our turn to come out short. Simple as. Carra and Sami both failed in this one.
            Chelsea - we should have scored and gotten at least 1 point.
            Bolton - we could easily have won this game if we had scored first. Once they were handed a goal it was always going to be hard.

            We have controlled the games. We didn't last year. Major diffence for me. We have looked like the better team and have failed infront of goal. Do we rotate too much? Possibly - but we create lots of chances. Let's try to be a little more calm and sensible about this. Kneejerk will get us nowhere. The fact is that we have a promising team who has failed to capitalize away.

            If we lose this one this years title chase will probably be over. If we win it everything is open again IMO.
