So did I and it is easy to say that out loud now but we do not know how it would of worked if he came to us then. Rafa has a certain amount to spend and he needs to spend the big spondoola on proven talent.

I think so (in the same way Anderson did for United) as he was clearly rated as a truly world class young talent and came from a big country (Argentina) as opposed to the likes of Gonzalez who have had real trouble.

We had new owners then. Rafa had limited money in '06, infact it appears David Moores lent money to the club to buy Kuyt.

I wanted Aguero 2 years ago, still do, but it is never as easy as we think it is.
