    Dion Dublin?
    Paul Warhurst?

Just trying to think of center halves who have played up front.

Steve Nicol is a good shout, well in.

Roy Keane, whilst I fully admire his talents, would have been rubbish up top. So not as good as gerrard, close but no cigar.

            Shane Warne mate.

Seriously you would be hard pressed to find a better all rounder than Gerrard.

Perhaps that South American goalie that took freekicks and used to make mazy runs to the half way line and could pass pretty nicely!

It's about ****ing time I exercised my limited knowledge of LFC in some capacity!

Botham's batting was far superior to Warne.

SG is the best all round player I have ever seen...

                  Souness wasn't bad though.

Hansen was as good an all round footballer as I have seen play, but Gerrard is awesome in any position.

Yep, good shout, I'm not convinced SG has the nouse to play CH. So while SG may edge in terms of technique and skill I think Nicol would run him real close as he had a better tactical appreciation of the game.

I reckon Owen Hargreaves could cover most positions and would have been a much better United shout than ****ing O'Shea!

Disagree there mate. Keane scored some fantastic goals for MU and Forest. Great header of the ball too.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

luis enrique from the same game (or even previous editions) would surely class as the same..... i think his "position" was something along the lines of D/M/AM/F R/L/C

Started out as a striker. A bit of training and he'd get it back.

But Shane could steal your wife while getting his century.
