    Worst LFC eleven ever?

    Can't argue to much really

Agree with the bloke who commented that Kvarme was worse than Traore. At least Djimi was occasionally in the right place and could put in some useful tackles now and again.

Traore has a CL winners medal.

The one player we signed that really really upset me was David Speedie. WTF was Kenny thinking.

Bit harsh to describe Nunez as a bad signing by Rafa - he was a makeweight in the Owen deal so didn't actually cost anything.

Nice to see this old debate rearing it's head again. Nick Tanner anyone?

            Nunez wasn't all that bad.

I was up in Dunfermline (were my uncle lives) and he's a Dunfermline Athletic fan so he took us in the legends bar at the ground and they've got pictures up there of Dunfermline legends Alex Ferguson, Jackie McNamara etc and Istvan Kozma!

I got talking to the bar manager saying I was a Liverpool fan, and how he was woeful for us and he said Kozma is regarded by many Dunfermline fans as their greatest ever player

whoever wrote that can cock off, saying djimi was one of the worst reds ever.

djimi played in most of the games in the run up to istanbul. he made some awesome tackles in the semi against chelsea and then in the final he kept us in the game with some awesome last ditch clearances.

i also think that nunez is getting rough ride in there...

                      surely there were worse reds?

i would even have david james for the number of high profile blunders
pellegrino was truly awful but for one derby appearance

The worst signing for me, was Diouf, because not only was he a horrible signing for football reasons, but he was an utter cunt and an embarrassment to the club off the pitch. Add the fee and we've got ourselves a winner.

Don't like that list because half of those guys hardly even played. I'd rather say that the players who played and did so at a consistent level (which many have done over the years) are more deserving than some of those players

Can anyone remember if Igor Biscan played in that match against Burnley ?
I remember a newspaper headline saying "Bring in the clowns" describing a match with horrible mistakes made by Biscan and Traore. Just not sure if it was that game..
