I imagine there were a few duffers in the team that got relegated to the old second division after the 53/54 season.

I fail to see how Sean Dundee was so bad. I never saw the lad play, but he rattled in the goals in Germany, which at the time was a very good league, with CL winners Borrusia Dortmond and Bayern Munich.
How the **** could he be so poor? Does anyone know what happened to him?
As for the young Danish keeper, Stensgaard, he was very highly rated but suffered a serious injury that ended his chances. I could think of far more deserving.Forwards.......

Paul Stewart. His debut game was my second match at Anfield. I was 9 and I could tell he was complete turd and told everyone around me. Most nodded in agreement.
Salif wasn't very good but he tried hard. I don't really take against players who are not technically good, or who aren't 'lfc standard'. They didn't buy themselves. Players who are lazy and look disinterested are the ones that piss me off. LeTallec for example.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Then you also didn't like Jamie Redknapp, David James, Robbie Fowler, Steve Mcmanaman and Jason Mcateer as they were like peas in a pod during the "spice boy" era.Originally posted by kev776 View PostI didnt like Ruddock's attitude, fat unprofessional and did not respect the club or staff, to much of a boozing play boy

They were young and easily led and believed the hype, he actually was a seasoned pro and should have had the same influence as Gary Mac did when he arrived.Originally posted by cled the red View PostThen you also didn't like Jamie Redknapp, David James, Robbie Fowler, Steve Mcmanaman and Jason Mcateer as they were like peas in a pod during the "spice boy" era.
Ruddock was just not my cup of tea and considering he was supposed to be at the top of his game when we bought him, he brought some bad habits to our club.Last edited by kev776; 21-10-08, 12:24 PM.Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
