There are clearly more reds fans outside of Liverpool than everton fans outside of liverpool. This is often mistaken as there being more blues in liverpool than reds. Fact is, the city is split and i'd guess it's pretty even, but we have more fans full stop, which is where the woolyback stuff comes from.

its a load of bollocks, the city is split halfey half. Anyone who tries to quote percentages doesn't know what there on about, I know just as many blues as I do reds.

The myth was begun by blues to make them sound better.

Perfect summary, LFC have an estimated 18 million fans world-wide, according to a scouser mate of mine it's about 60/40 in our favour within the city itself. Bitters are similar to Newcastle, they have fans within their own boundary, but very little beyond it.

Well I'm not sure of the exact figures but it's pretty close to 0 people support everton outside of Liverpool and hence their status as a very little club

In my primary school year there was 33 lads, 30 reds and 3 blues but Id say its a 50-50 split. More blue in north Liverpool more red in south Liverpool.

It's lies, damned lies, and statistics. They seized upon a report showing that we had a larger proportion of season ticket holders from outside Liverpool than they did, and used it to say that they had more fans than we do in the city. It ignored the fact that proportions and numbers aren't the same thing. We've got many more season ticket holders than them, so from memory when you apply the proportions we actually had more season ticket holders from Liverpool than them. (as well as having many more from outside Liverpool too)

We do have more fans around the world than them, true, but that is because Everton are ****e so who would support them if you weren't born and brainwashed into it?

I said it before I'll say again.

Everton, City & Spurs have always been bitter towards the success of there neighbours
