Great first half for us.

Controlled the game IMO.

That pitch looks awful and it will be harder in the second half with that wind against us but we just need to keep the ball down.

Riera has been excellent again. It's a shame he is showing signs of being a diver. He has done it a few times now and we need to take it out of his game.

i am so ****in happy that xabi stayed at the club....he is back to his best and to be honest, a team with mascher, xabi and stevie in the middle - and when we have the upfront options of torres and keane, and kuyt and babel - not to mention the very good players like riera and benny then i am very very optimistic about our chances in the premier and champions leagues this year
