Arbeloa just needs to be reminded in no uncertain terms to be a bit more disciplined in his approach to his defensive duties, if someone is'nt getting back to cover for him point it out, or if it comes to it stay back more often, defend first, especially away.
But i like him as a player, he's confident, a bit too much on occasion, but his ability on the ball is fine imo.....generally, what was it that we paid for him? anyone.

To be fair he's looked overweight since pre-season. I'm surprised he's not shifted that extra poundage yetOriginally posted by rage View Posthe's at best solid. does degen exist?
i'd rather we blooded insua with aurlio/arbeloa on left back and had bought a quality right back instead of the fat italian

That's the sad reality of it yes.Originally posted by Zapater View PostHmm people are also overlooking the fact that Gerrard was to the right of Benayoun for periods of the game this evening. But no, we can't criticise Gerrard no matter what so we'll select some easier targets like Yossi and Arbeloa a bollocking."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

He does give a lot of free kicks away but he's a wind up merchant, and a very good one at that!Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostBack to his pants early season form tonight. He gives away so many needless free-kicks it's untrue.
However, I like him...at least I do when he's "at it" but he's having a few too many lapses for my liking at the moment.
I actually like him, he's athletic and his fitness levels are very good. He's unspectacular but most of all he takes **** off no one.
He's not scared of a ruck which is what we need, we've been a team of pussies for too long. Arbeloa's like a bresh of fresh air and personally love it when he boots someone or pulls them down shadily.
If he was a normal fan he'd be the first to kick off on a rival fan, he also hates Man U, Ronaldo and Forlan by the way he marked the cunt tonight. He booted Messi off the pitch when we played Barca a few years back.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
