He didn't get booked for a silly tackle in his own half, which is a surprising bonus.

Yep very good last night. Proved a good outlet for us and attacked the spaces down the right. I worry about his lapses and the all too regular concession of silly free-kicks, but he’s been another excellent Benitez purchase. A real steal.

Agreed Nicey mate, unfortunately there are some fans who are obsessed with having a dig at our players. Now that the Kuyt bashers have had a coincidental collective loss of voice, it's Arbeloa (playing well for the team 3 points clear at the top of the league, 2 clean sheets on the trot and all that) taking the ****. I can live with it on a forum, what really annoying is when they turn up to the ground with no other objective but to slate the player. Heard one kid slag Reira all game on Sunday, what game was he watching?

When Pennant was subbed off () he was fantastic at providing the extra width down the right. Benayoun doesnt hug the touchline and likes to roam infield so potentially that can make our play a little narrow but to compensate Arbeloa pushed forward and played very wide. It helped us spread the play nicely towards the end of the game.

I also love that he's really quick, not many wingers can easily beat him for pace.

Yes one thing he does have going for him is pace and bags of it.

                    Very quick player.

fcuk off Marky, if you've got nothing better to contribute then STFU or do one to that club of yours you keep getting banned from. FFS lads, we're top of the table and we keep getting the results now is not the time to criticise the lads but to back them and to keep this momentum going. The lads are doing everything right on the pitch and we as fans need to ensure we help support them!
They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

True. Lucas likewise gave away far less fouls than usual.
