Woeful football, he really is.
I cant believe at one point i rated him."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

people have forgot what football is about, its more than sideways pass completion and yards covered. garcia was a match winner. would loved to have seen a front four of riera, gerrard, garcia with torres upfront.
I would say Luis should be thankful to Rafa for providing the platform for him to enjoy what will surely be the highlight of his career. No one did more for the cause on the road to Instanbul than Rafa, no one came close.
Edit: actually Carra wouldnt be too far behind
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

For every big game Garcia had there was 3 or 4 howlers. He saved his best for the Juves, Chelsea's etc but in the bread and butter premiership games he was gash. a legend none the less IMOOriginally posted by rage View Posti don't think its as general as that. there are certain players in every team that made the difference for them. garcia was one such player imo.Dare we believe

Is it not up to the individual to decide who to them is a legend or not, bearing in mind people will have different criteria. Some think he is, some think he isn't - which is fair enough in my book.Originally posted by Skunk View PostI can certainly look back at Garcia's contribution during the European run with great fondness, as I can with plenty of other squad/fringe players, but a legend? Nah.
'Legend' is a much overused term these days and should be saved for the select group who genuinley deserve it.

Complete nonsense. We have him, as much as anyone else, to thank for #5, and for that I will always be grateful to him. For me, anyone who played a significant role in #5 is a legend, and to me that makes Luis a legend. I don't care about his antics on Wed, he said he would get no joy from scoring against us and that's good enough for me.Originally posted by Marky View PostWoeful football, he really is.
