Because they helped achieve what in my mind was a miracle, something so unexpected and something any rational person would have thought was beyond the capabilities players. They gave me possibly the best night of my life, something I never dreamed I would see. If that doesn't deserve legendary status then I don't know what does.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Bollix he has always done that and we have forgiven him ... hes a cheeky chappy .. its not ideal but I will give him a pass but very few would get away with it ...hes one of the few .. a lovable rouge if you likeOriginally posted by redtone View PostLike most I really liked Garcia, although, unlike some, he's not on my "legends list".
His football on Weds was poor but his playacting was even worse. Really disappointed and (assuming he plays) if he does that kind of stuff at Anfield I think he'll lose a few friends. Shame.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Yet the whole Instanbul experience, as ****ing fantastic as it was, started at half time against Olympiacos for me. 3 goals required in 45 minutes required yet we had one in no time due to a fantastic run behind their defence by Harry and he places it on pongo's plate 1-1, the rest is history.Originally posted by Skunk View PostDoesn't make them legends, imo.
Kewell's lazyness was legendary, I'll give him that.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Istanbul was amazing, a one off iconic victory, and those who played a 'significant' role (whatever that is) will always be remembered for their part in it, but in reality it was just a football match, and many of them, including Garcia, were average players and are undeserving of the 'legend' tag.Originally posted by Dhav View PostBecause they helped achieve what in my mind was a miracle, something so unexpected and something any rational person would have thought was beyond the capabilities players. I was going to mention that as an example of a 'significant contribution', which was more than Baros ever did in that run, but that would make Kewell a legend, and I couldn't have that on my conscience.Originally posted by Skillz View PostYet the whole Instanbul experience, as ****ing fantastic as it was, started at half time against Olympiacos for me. 3 goals required in 45 minutes required yet we had one in no time due to a fantastic run behind their defence by Harry and he places it on pongo's plate 1-1, the rest is history.

Harry is not a legend, not even close. He did however have some good days and played his part in some trophy runs.Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
