Why exactly?

They're just players who contributed to one of our greatest ever European victories.

Because they helped achieve what in my mind was a miracle, something so unexpected and something any rational person would have thought was beyond the capabilities players. They gave me possibly the best night of my life, something I never dreamed I would see. If that doesn't deserve legendary status then I don't know what does.

Like most I really liked Garcia,although, unlike some, he's not on my "legends list".

His football on Weds was poor but his playacting was even worse. Really disappointed and (assuming he plays) if he does that kind of stuff at Anfield I think he'll lose a few friends. Shame.

Bollix he has always done that and we have forgiven him ... hes a cheeky chappy .. its not ideal but I will give him a pass but very few would get away with it ...hes one of the few .. a lovable rouge if you like

Yet the whole Instanbul experience, as ****ing fantastic as it was, started at half time against Olympiacos for me. 3 goals required in 45 minutes required yet we had one in no time due to a fantastic run behind their defence by Harry and he places it on pongo's plate 1-1, the rest is history.

Istanbul was amazing, a one off iconic victory, and those who played a 'significant' role (whatever that is) will always be remembered for their part in it, but in reality it was just a football match, and many of them, including Garcia, were average players and are undeserving of the 'legend' tag.

Harry is not a legend, not even close. He did however have some good days and played his part in some trophy runs.

For every big game Garcia had there was 3 or 4 howlers. He saved his best for the Juves, Chelsea's etc but in the bread and butter premiership games he was gash. a legend none the less IMO
