A little harsh. Living in America myself nowadays I never get to watch the game and I enjoy reading the match threads. I also look at 6CM for ratings, at least I do when we win. I wonder why ardja doesn't do the same, since he posts more over there.

That was my plan too but I went to bed and couldn't sleep as I was too geed up about the match.

Got up, worked whilst I watched the match thread for the 1st half, then
excitement once again got the better of me and I watched the 2nd half on a stream.

I think people are being very harsh on Keane. He faded but his positioning was generally good, he linked well with Gerrard to a degree, I admit they didn't gel perfectly but they often made a lot of space in tight areas between them. He led the line well in the first half but fell back too much in the second. Overall though he was well worth a 7 in that match I thought.

Defense get 8s all round for me although Carragher nearly gets himself a 9.

Alonso was excellent in attack and defense.

Gerrard was tactically brilliant. Played the role he was asked to marvelously in complete contrast to the way he kept coming deep and ruining our play against the big teams from that position last year.
