How would we react if Liverpool had gone on a 4 year unbeaten run spanning 86 games? I would expect the fans to give the players a standing ovation when it ended.

This highlights yet again the difference between between real fans and "plastic" fans. I was in the Kop against Wigan and Zaki got applause from all sides of the ground after his second (amazing) goal, yet Chelsea fans boo their team despite most of them probably never seeing that happen before - typical cockney fans, like those at Wembley, they demand to be entertained and jump on their players backs when things don't go their way...

I'll get off my soap box now!

    dead right fella

i find myself almost hating the chavs more than the scum or the bitters..... they are so ****in ****e.....

what summed it up for me is when they played the mancs in moscow in the cl final.... the ONLY flag i saw from a fan was a blue one with "SCOUSE FREE ZONE" written on it..... ****in pathetic if you ask me.... idiots are obsessed with us.... compare that with the flags about Carra taking care of Shavchenko and the Stevie G gladiator flag...... as well as the Turkish Delight flags at istanbul......

i really feel that lfc have the best fans in the world....

thommo summed it up on sky the night of istanbul.....he said that there might be bigger clubs, like barcelona and real madrid i think he said, but "liverpool are the BEST CLUB in the world" - true stuff from the legend
