BULL****. Lucas has been good. Distributed well, pressured well. Anyone saying he's played **** doesn't understand football.

Exactly, it seems a few on here dont rate him but I think he is a top prospect who can play for the team now.He is good on the ball and keeps good possession and he is also good going the other way.I think he is a good player and am happy with what I have seen of him but think he needs to get some more games and maybe a loan deal somewhere would be good for him next season.

The thing is that the game where I think it all went wrong last year was at Blackburn where we dominated but with Kuyt up front we couldn't convert that into goals. Somehow these games can sap confidence more than defeats when aiming for top spot. On the other hand this used to be how we won huge numbers of games, wear teams out first half pounce in the second.

I agree though no need to panic.

He's done nothing wrong tonight, just don't think we need both him and Alonso in the middle this evening

SG is **** out of luck at the moment, nothing is coming off. We've enough chances that it'll come good and if it hasn't by 80 minutes, then at least we now the new rafa will switch to 1-0-9 and we'll be good

But if you take him off, SG will drop back and I'd rather SG stayed up front and to be fair both Xabi and Lucas are spending a whole bunch of time in the final 3rd. If one or two passes had been a little more precise we'd not be having this discussion as if think the CM 2 have supported the attack well.

JP on the other hand isn't getting into the game, I think we need to get more from that wing before we mess with the middle.
