    Pepe Reina again

I cant seem to stop praising him, he's just class in every way.

I love his goal celebrations all the way at the other end, the passion and the enthusiasm. You can see just how much it means to him and i love that.

Last night, i was behind his goal in the 2nd half and he didnt even watch the peno, he had his back to it and was facing the fans behind the goal and used us as a guide to celebrate.

    Just love him

It's getting to the stage where we've got the best keeper in the league, the best defensive midfielder in the world, the finest attacking midfielder in the game and the best striker on the planet.

It's almost a bit like the old days

Pepe is IMO amongst the top-5 keepers in the world. Can only see Buffon as clearly better, and Casillas, Cech and Cesar as his equals at the moment.

There are of course other good GK's...

He doesn't get anywhere near enough credit. It's ridiculous really considering he's got the Golden Gloves the last 2 seasons (maybe 3?). Yet he'll rarely be mentioned in the same breath as Cech, who's the best keeper in the world apparently?!

The media seem to create some issues with players, like in the rare instance that Reina makes a mistake, you'll get the odd "Well he's prone to the odd error" comments, but when Cech or Van Der Sar make one, it's "Well that's unlike him, he's usually rock solid".

I know I'm biased, but there isn't another keeper I'd rather have than Pepe, he's an outstanding keeper.

                That's sensational!!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Yeah great keeper, great personality too - a ****ing legend - the clip of him basically doing a stand up routing after spain won the euros' so how mad he is

Also craig_h - i too have sat annie road loads of times and he is great, interacts with the crowd behind him - think it was man u this seaosn when babel scored - pepe was on the edge of his box and when we scored he turned and legged it towards the annie road ****ing going mental - it's practically like he is one of us - he comes across as one of those players, who despite being from a foriegn country has totally been drawn in to the scouse culture and the liverpool way.

If Pepe had been in goal at both ends in the Emirates the other night it would have finished 1-0 to Arsenal

Goalkeeper is a very underrated position - its only when you look at the likes of Almunia and Gomes that you realise how lucky we actually are.

                          Aint that a fact.

Quality goalkeepers are in short supply...especially in the EPL.

That's exactly the kind of thing i'm talking about mate, he goes mad when we score, it was the same at the final whistle when we beat chelsea the other week, he turned towards us lot behind his goal and celebrated with us. Threw his gloves into the crowd too but i didnt get them

He's one of us, and i love him.

a quarter of the EPL has current or ex LFC keepers as first choice so it is quite easy to see the comparison between the quality we have now and the **** we have had in the past.
                              in january we were doomed.

in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again
