    Ground covered around the pitch

Players today wear heart monitors and some method of measuring how far they have run etc, does anybody know if this is public knowledge and where I can find info about distances covered etc.

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Are you talking about doing perimeter runs?

No, during the match the ground a player covers (distance) is recorded somewhere, and often given out on screen when he is subbed etc, I was wondering if it was recorded anywhere for public knowledge

He counts each player yard for yard.

didnt our champions league winner momo cover the most ground on a consistant basis??

Crouch was quite often our most distance covered player I think surprisingly enough.

Aye but to be fair, one stride for him is like four for Mascherano.

you can just picture monster chasing crouch cartoon style

crouch with the big leaps and monster with the dust coming up from behind him

Surpirsed Dirk doesn't walk away with it every week just on watching the games but I suppose it's the tenacity and pace at which he closes down that catches the eye most rather than the distance travelled.
