    Post match thread v Spurs

    Ridiculous

Well, there goes the "lucky" tag, personally I thought we played extremely well for 65mins and were very unlucky not to have won that comfortably.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
    Mine angry and defrauded young?

We weren't in the game for last 20 minutes. Spurs were clever though, falling over whenever anyone near them and getting all the decisions. The officials were dire.

We've long had a habit of not finishing games off and then getting hit with sucker punches. Season after season. That's what's happened today. Hopefully we can respond next match

That performance/result gives all the dick heads on Talk****e and Sky to begin with the "Their luck's finally run out " ****e. ****ing gutted. They were **** and deserved to be at least three down.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

We faded very badly and I think we launched too many long balls.

Reira and Keane were the best players for us as they keep the ball really well. Sorely missed when they went off.

Hopefully we can bounce back and stay in contention. At least we are still 2nd in the league.

Exactly. Gutted, but I'm sure we'll bounce back big time.

we hit the woodwork 3 times but in honesty were either complacent or indecisive depending on how you look at it. definately lost it for their second, poor defending

We did play very well for 70 min, and even outplayed totteham in that period. In the last 20 min we where still the better side, but when we don't score on our chances this is what happens...

Tottenham got lucky, and we really need another striker besides Torres to start scoring goals.

i'd rather robbie keane still played for spurs.

thought this was on the cards. we simply fail to create any real chances rather than rely on the mistakes of others. sooner or later the other team was bound to get the luck.

3 points dropped. That's the grim conclusion
