If you think there wont be a huge queue of top managers, should rafa walk, then you're on a different planet to me.

You seriously dont think there'll be plenty of top coaches who would LOVE to manage us, if rafa left his job???

You obviously have a very low opinion of the great institution that is Liverpool Football Club.

I dont understand what you mean by that. If you're referring to me - all i'm saying is that plenty of top managers would want the job, if rafa went - because we're a huge institiution in world football and very few would be able to resist.

What do you disagree with in that?

                Am not referring to you.

Ok enough of that for today (I just woke up). I'll leave the keyboard wars for somebody else.

Of course I dont. Rafa asked about a contract in the summer and now again and will probably keep doing so until he gets an answer. I think he knows that there is no contract coming soon and is just letting the fans know that he is mad to stay and that his bosses are ****ing up. That is my take on it and I could very well be over reacting

But it is obviously something that is bothering him or he would not keep bringing it up. Give the man a contract and he will do the business or else we will have to get a new man with another 5 year plan and a new bunch of players coming and going

I havent disagreed with anything you've said there.

I said that IF Rafa went, there'd be loads of top managers who'd be gagging to take the job. You think there wouldnt, and therefore i conclude that you dont have a very high opinion of LFC.

We gave Houllier a new contract and it ended up costing us big time.
he'll get a new contract if he challenges else he'll walk out in a big public fight and people will forget that he actually failed here. and b4 anyone wants to pick a fight i'd much rather we challenged rather than start again

You name them so? Like I said, there are a small few out there and they all have jobs. They will want money to spend and H+G wont be able to gaurantee that.

Capello said England will be his last job, Lippi wont go to England, Hiddink is getting big bucks with Russia, Fergie and Wenger no chance and Scolari has what he wants at Chelsea, Schuster gets serious backing at Real and Guardiola is a Barca man. Mourinho is on huge money at Inter and Ancelloti has AC back on track.

Me not 'naming them' doesnt negate the fact that the LFC job is a hugely coveted and prestigious role. If you dont see that, i honestly dont know why you're a Liverpool fan.

I understand this and only a select few are capable of managing us.
Like I pointed out none of them are really available. Hopefully we wont need to be looking for a new manager and just new owners and CEO instead

The 'not available' thing doesnt mean anything mate, if a manager wants to move on, he moves on - you only have to look at Redknapp just last week to realise this. As i said, plenty of top coaches would love to manage LFC.
